Letter from the President
Dear Distinguished Delegates, Honorable Chairs, and Esteemed Guests,
It is both a privilege and a pleasure to welcome you all to ROSEMUN. My name is Vahdet Gül, and I am deeply honored to serve as the President of this year’s edition.
In a world increasingly shaped by complexity and conflict, the voice of youth has never been more essential. ROSEMUN is not just a conference; it is a space where diverse perspectives collide, diplomacy is put to the test, and innovative solutions are born. Here, your ideas matter your passion has a place.
Our goal at ROSEMUN is to go beyond the formalities of procedure. We aim to foster real leadership, spark thought-provoking discussions, and provide every delegate with a chance to grow not only as a speaker or a negotiator, but as a global citizen.
Behind the scenes, our dedicated academic and organization teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that this experience will be intellectually rigorous, emotionally fulfilling, and genuinely unforgettable. Every committee has been curated with care, and every detail shaped with one aim in mind: to create a conference worthy of your potential.
As President, I encourage you to embrace the challenges ahead. Speak boldly. Listen deeply. Respect your fellow delegates and above all, enjoy the journey. The friendships you form, the lessons you learn, and the memories you create here will extend far beyond closing ceremony.

What is the Model United Nations?

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational model of the United Nations used for simulations in which students learn about diplomacy and international relations. At a MUN conference, each student works as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.
Learn teamwork, writing, speaking, and more.
MUN focuses on research, public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. While MUN is typically used as an extracurricular activity, some schools also offer it as a class. MUN is intended to develop students’ deeper understanding into current world issues and world politics while leading the most prestigious educational event.

At RoseMUN, our vision is to inspire and guide young individuals to become globally aware, solution-driven leaders who possess strong analytical and leadership abilities. Our mission is to provide participants with essential skills such as critical thinking, persuasive communication, and cultural awareness through the Model United Nations platform, empowering them to grow into thoughtful, responsible, and open-minded global citizens.
